This Privacy Notice for Mathias Matejčík ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you download and use our mobile application (LogBook), or engage with us in other related ways.

What personal information do we process? We collect personal information you provide when registering and using the app, including name, email, location, and crew member data.
Do we process sensitive personal information? Yes — we process crew member health data, passport numbers, and nationality when you provide it. This is processed only with your consent.
Do we collect information from third parties? No.
How do we process your information? To provide and improve our Services, manage your account, and comply with law.
How do we keep your information safe? We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
What are your rights? Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register or use the Services:
Sensitive Information. With your consent, we process health data (medical notes for crew members), passport numbers, national origin, and precise geolocation.
Payment Data. Payments are handled by Apple and Google. We do not store payment instrument details. See Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Location Data. We request location access to record your vessel's position in log entries. This is used only when you explicitly tap the GPS button in the app.
We process your information to:
We process your information based on: your consent; to fulfil our contractual obligations to you; to comply with legal obligations; and to protect vital interests.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR applies. If you are in Canada, PIPEDA applies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share information in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition) or as required by law.
We retain your personal information for as long as you have an account with us. When you delete your account, we delete all associated data from our active databases within 30 days.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Crew member passport numbers and medical notes are encrypted at rest. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us at matejcikmathias@gmail.com.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at matejcikmathias@gmail.com.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), which removes all your data.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals as no uniform standard currently exists.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
